Each spring we are greeted with warmer weather, longer days, and new trends straight off the runway. We have been doing our research and are coming at you today with the best trends & cuts of the season!
1. Clip It In
Pins, barrettes, and clips are the name of the game this spring. You can keep them delicate for just a subtle touch or fully layer them for maximum drama. The amazing thing about this hair clip revolution is that anyone can make it their own. With a surplus of options on the market, you can find one to fit every mood.

2. The New Color Pallet
Experimenting with an unexpected color is a surefire way to make you feel fresh this spring. Petal pink, lavender, and baby blue hues tend to be the go-to when one wants to add some color to their locks but consider trying some richer colors with tons of depth. An aqua green or deep coral will bring dimension and tons of visual interest to your look. Work with a stylist to develop a unique color that is perfect for your skin's undertones.
3. Sleek modern vibes
Polished hair was all over the runway for Spring 2019, giving off a very modern look. Ranging from sleek half-updos to tightly pulled back ponytails. The idea was zero frizz, lots of shine, and clean minimal lines. Break out your straightener and replicate the look by adding a generous amount of a smoothing oil to the lower third of your hair. Minimize any flyaway in your ponytails or buns by adding a static control spray, in addition to giving you some hold it will also add even more shine. Be ready for an ultra-reflective finish.

4. Be blunt
The blunt bob emerged on the runway and is quickly sweeping across social media. Chances are you’ve seen a couple of influencers already make the chop. This style is hitting right above the shoulders and there is a ton of volume added at the roots to give it lots of bounce. If you decide to take the plunge talk to your stylist about framing your face for a cut that flatters your bone structure.

5. Chunky Braids
If you like your braids long, thick, and chunky then spring is going to be your season. Braids have been around forever but what makes SS 2019 a bit different is that they are less about adding a romantic texture in the hair and more about invoking strength and practicality. The braids this season were bold and worn low on the head. They felt like a powerful, no-nonsense look that still nodded at a touch of femininity. This is a look that is incredibly easy to replicate at home. Start by slicking back your hair and create a tight plait at the base of your neck. Accessorize with different hair ties for embellishment, and spray everything in place with a flexible hairspray. That’s all it takes, now you are ready to take on the world.

6. Wearable Wet
This washed-up mermaid hair look has been a thing for a while now. It has always seemed like a slightly unapproachable look since most people don’t actually want to leave the house with dripping wet and/or greasy hair, but this spring it is coming at us in a much more wearable way. Think less wet and more lacquered. Try this look on second or third-day hair since you will already have some natural oils working for you. Add in a shine and texture spray from root to tips. Smooth down any flyaways and tuck your hair behind your ears for that polished high fashion look. Who says third-day hair can’t be chic?
